AT RISK YOUTH

    Home AT RISK YOUTH

    SAVE OUR YOUTH

Our goal is to help adolescents break cycles of negative risk-taking, violence and addiction. Through this initiative, they learn strategies to carve out a new way of life – helping them break cycles of negative high-risk behavior; heal shame, anger and grief; and emerge with a new sense of self and a positive future orientation.

    Counseling

We understand that the core of many of our youths well being is vested in their emotional and mental state. If a child is not stable within, this could be the cause for differentiating behaviors and thus counseling is aimed at understand and working through:

    • Behavioral problems
    • School problems
    • Low self-esteem
    • Harming self or others
    • Family conflict
    • Loss and grief
    • Depression and anxiety

    New Development

We believe that our child can restore positive aspects of themselves, while developing upon new better habits and practices that yield a more positive life. Our goal is not to define their journey, but guide them to be able to find happiness and success on their own through:

    • Tutoring and extra curricular activities
    • Mentorship and fellowship
    • Engagement with new peers
    • Life coaching
    • Exposure to new hobbies and interests
    • Self Reflection and follow up
